I decided to take photos of nature’s most beautiful yet deadly work of art the rose. I wanted to capture the simple yet dramatic complexity of this flower, roses in general have a lot of meaning because when I was a little I remember my grandmother having such a magnificent thriving rose garden and every single time I would step in her garden I could smell the sweet fragrance the flowers were giving off I felt comforted and at home so being around these flowers brought me a lot of comfort I felt at peace.

Taking the photos was a challenge because of all the bugs, and heat and having to bend down in the mud to get the right angle was not so fun :p, also having to follow the rule of thirds and making sure the pictures are focused, to make sure the lighting is good and that unwanted people were not in the background to ruin the shoots -___- , overall despite the challenges I went through I had a wonderful time being one on one with nature and I am extremely proud of my outcome with these photos I feel like taking these photos have made me better at photography. I literally don’t consider my photos as photography I count as art a way of expressing myself and getting more creative. I think everybody should considered doing this on their free time because it is such a experience, I would also like to acknowledge my partner in this project Kim Lovato because she also worked really hard on her shoot. My love dont cry, I always know how hard you try. My loves dry your eyes you dont have to tell me why just put your head on my shoulder, close your eyes and dont think about why. In the photograph I looked at yesterday ,it showed in the first picture a future mom in a field of dead grass and trees im thinking it was winter when the first picture was taken, but when she had her baby the same place that the picture was taken was green, lively and beautiful she looks happier because shes with her child. I REALLY like the loving vibe I get out of this photo its like you feel her sorrow and longing to be with her baby in the first picture and in the second picture you feel her joy, happiness, love and thats she glad to be with her baby. I just really loved the mother child relationship loving feeling overall these were very beautiful photos.

Guest Blog Spotlight: Jesslyn Garcia

I got the honor of interviewing Jesslyn Garcia she was raised in the small town of Santa Maria which is across from the border of mexico. She lives with her parents and 5 siblings she is a cross country runner, she has a intrest in the field of medicine she wants have a career in this field she loves zebras, lions or any wildlife animal she loves green. Jesslyn is a very interesting person i had a wonderful time interviewing her. Thoughts on news, feature and editorial writing

I learned that journalist need to have factual information in their storys and blogs, and that they need to be to focus on people and activities of intrest, but when it comes to editorals it should be highly opinionated. I would personally use each in a feature story because does not have to have a time limit. The thing with writing a factual story, news, and editorals if that sometimes the journalist that your getting the information from can be lieing about what they are writing but it can also be a positive thing too because if the journalists follows the right principles they can help you know whats going on around the world and you will be getting the truth instead of a can full of fake worms XD. I would personally LOVE to write a feature story because I love the fact that I can focus on peoples intrest on activites and I can write about their talents, intrests, hobbies, etc. I feel it would be interesting to find out very interest things about people you have never met before.
